Celebrating 26 years of Trivial Goodness with radio station
KVSC, we are
Worried About The Beaver!
Although we are based in St. Cloud, Minnesota, several people join us from all over the place via a chatroom where
we hang out and try to figure out the answers to nine questions every hour for fifty hours.
Our team is made up of trivia veterans and new folks as well. Some of us have played for other KVSC trivia teams
such as the
Society for Creative Anarchism,
What Would Scooby Doo, and
Those Meddling Kids.
Last year we took 20th place out of 75 teams.
Joining us will be some old friends that are trivia professionals,
Alferd Packer's Auxiliary, as well as some folks who play for the Stevens Point Wisconsin game on the team known as
Network.
Our goals this year are rather simple:
1. We want to have fun.
2. We want to play well, which means integrating our internet players with our
local people.
3. We want to place in the top 20.
4. We want to bring back the tradition of challenging other teams to do silly things!
There is still time to join us, if you want to play. If you can make it to St. Cloud, Minnesota, you
can join us at team headquarters. If not, you can play via our chat room! KVSC does stream their programming,
so you can play along even if you're not in the listening area. If you're running Windows, you'll need WinAmp
or some other MP3 player. Check out
KVSC's site for details.
Check this page for news and announcements.
We are looking for people to do all sorts of things from surfing for answers to questions, to keeping books,
to just making sure that everything goes smoothly. If you have a silly idea for a song, a poem, a challenge -- whatever,
just let me know.
We're going to play, and make it a good time!
